What preparation includes
Deep cleaning
Exterior wash and protection, interior shampooing, wheels and arches. A clean car looks newer in photos and well kept at viewings.
Minor cosmetic work
Polishing light scratches, tidying interior details, replacing bulbs and small parts – agreed after an inspection, only what makes sense for the specific car.
Photos and listing
The right light and angles: exterior from all sides, interior, odometer, engine bay, tyres and defects. Honest defect photos save time and reduce haggling. A factual description and a realistic asking price.
When preparation does not make sense
If the car needs expensive repairs, has serious faults or major accident damage, preparation rarely pays off. Compare with car buyout or damaged car buyout.
